I am a Merit Badge Counselor with Troop #9 (4009).  I have a Master's degree in Agriculture (required work in the College of Vet Medicine & College of Agriculture), a BS Degree in Animal Science, and a BS degree in Textile Management from the College of Engineering.  All from Auburn University.  (merit badges: Textiles, Animal Science, Mammal Studies, Bird Studies, Dog Care, Pets, & Horsemanship)

I am a homeschooling parent (entering 8th year) and teach history courses in our homeschool association.  I am also field trip coordinator for the group.  I organize ~50 field trip and recreation events each year.  (American Heritage, Reading, & Scholarship)(Family Life)

In the scout troop, I have served as Popcorn Chairman for 3 yeas (with Pack & Troop).  I will serve again this year.  (Salesmanship) I also serve as a Merit Badge Counselor.

I am an amateur genealogist having researched my own family tree for many years.  I have worked in the field of law enforcement (juvenile probation officer), retail , horticulture/nursery (plant farm and Lowes Garden Center), teaching (grad school & homeschool), and research labs.   (Insect Study, Gardening, Genealogy)
